Job description

Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Economics to join a High School based in Bromley.

The High School is looking for a part-time Teacher of Economics to join their thriving Economics and Business Department.

You will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons to students, working with other members of the department to ensure that pupils can access a high standard of learning. You will also contribute to the department's vibrant co-curricular programme, which includes an annual Economics conference, external competitions, and workshops, as well as overseas and domestic trips.

You will be a creative, dynamic and inspirational teacher, with a strong degree and an excellent track record of Economics teaching. You will also be a flexible and approachable individual, who is willing to play a key role in the co-curricular activities of a busy school. They welcome applications from newly qualified and experienced teachers.

About the High School

The High School is a consistently oversubscribed, academically selective girls’ school with 900 pupils from 4-18, occupying a 25-acre parkland site in leafy Bickley, in Kent. In 2018, the school was recognised by ISI as a centre of excellence for training and development of new teachers. They can offer a variety of benefits, such as:
