This position requires a Tax Accountant who will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns and managing client relationships within the Accounting & Finance department. Description
Tax Accountant - Job Description - West Wickham
- Oversee the preparation and review of corporate personal tax returns, VAT returns, P11D's and PSA submissions.
- Review provisions (including tax accounting schedules) and final tax computations
- Manage client relationships and provide expert advice on tax matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation.
- Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies as required.
- Participate in business development activities to expand the company's client base.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations.
Profile
A successful Tax Accountant should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or taxation (ATT/ACA/ACCA). Training support to progress to chartered tax advisor CTA.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
