Senior Developer – Remote/Doncaster - Up to £65k plus benefits + Flexible working

This advanced consumer services company are looking to add an experienced Senior PHP Developer / Technical Lead to their collaborative development team. The successful developer will be a team player and looking to build on their skills and experience in a vibrant working environment. You will be directly responsible for a team of 5 developers who work on a variety of customer facing websites and backend APIs. They are looking for someone who can attend their Doncaster office once per week once it is completely safe to do so.

The hands-on Technical Lead will be required to oversee development project, develop code, processes and solve problems whilst taking specifications and turning those into websites. The company do not currently use any PHP or front-end frameworks but are completely open to any being introduced into the team. This senior position has a large amount of say over the tech stack that the team is working with.

Essential:
- Strong PHP experience + frontend skills
- MySQL And Redis
- Linux (basic command line)
- JavaScript HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery
- Unit testing and other automated testing methods

Desirable:
- JavaScript frameworks
- AWS or Azure
- JSON/Restful/SOAP webservices
- Apache/Nginx
- Mentoring / team leadership
