Job Introduction
As a Catering Supervisor at Sodexo in Dorset Police, Radipole Lane, Weymouth. You'll supervise a small catering team, this site operates 365 days a year. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the catering department, to ensure delivery of all our food services meet client requirements.
What you’ll do:
- You must comply with Company and Statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
- Servicing all areas in accordance to the output specification
- Adhere to KPI procedure.
- To take responsibility for your department record keeping, ensuring audit trails are available at all times.
- To follow ROL, recording allergen information and display accordingly.
- To oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen and ancillary and outside areas including all light and heavy equipment as detailed in the cleaning schedule and directed by the line manager.
- Accounting, cash flow and monthly reporting to CM
- Temperature monitoring, calibrating equipment
- Overseeing all food preparation.
- Team meetings
- Review and follow cleaning schedules.
- Support colleagues as required
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of catering/allergens/basic cooking skills, as well as some team leading experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Excellent communication
- Be a team player and take instruction
