Business Analyst
Hybrid 2-3 days a week in the office
St. Ives
My client is looking for a business analyst to help support a intial 6 month project.
Key Skills- Identify and consult with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts, to elicit and understand business requirements for the new ITSM.
- Ensure the requirements are translated these into technical requirements, authoring and owning discovery documents and artefacts.
- Create the AS IS and TO BE process maps.
- Support the business to ensure product development remains within scope.
- Set out MVP requirements on initial product delivery and support the business in planning future iterations and releases to eliminate scope creep.
- Identify and document non-functional requirements.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify areas of improvement in the current processes.
- Own and maintain the product backlog to ensure this is well refined and contains Initiatives, and user stories that are ready for development that enables delivery of a quality product.
- Update relevant stakeholders with progress, challenges, and blockers as and when required.
- Conduct and oversee refinement session with the ITSM providers.
- Attend daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and sprint retros.
- Support sprint planning sessions by ensuring priorities set out by the business are included in sprint for timely release.
- Assist in the creation of user manuals, training materials, and other documentation.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate new features and enhancements.
