We are looking for a Resident Liaison Officer (7 Month FTC) to join the Pendleton Together team in this new role. As a Resident Liaison Officer (7 Month FTC) you will be the main point of contact for customers at all stages of planned improvement works. Liaising between other staff, Coordinators, contractors other agencies and customers to deliver a high quality service during planned improvement works
Requirements
Outline of Key responsibilities for the Resident Liaison Officer (7 Month FTC)…
- Engage customers by providing information about upcoming improvement works and presenting options for materials, packs, and plans. Ensure customers have a clear understanding of timescales, contractor details, and potential disturbances. Emphasize proper preparation and inform customers about anticipated dangers. Personal visits to customers' homes may be required.
- Create captivating display boards and publicity materials. Oversee show houses or presentations during the consultation phase. Collaboration with team members, including evening hours if necessary.
- Work closely with Resident Liaison Coordinators and contractors to schedule and coordinate the scheme. Communicate customer choices and relevant information to Project Coordinators and contractors in advance. Review and verify proposed drawings and proposals.
- Promptly address safeguarding issues in compliance with policies.
- Attend meetings with staff, contractors, and customers to contribute to the successful implementation of the improvement program. Identify areas requiring attention and recommend actions. Monitor contractor performance and report any issues.
- Participate in completion handovers with Project Coordinators and contractors. Refer any identified issues or maintenance problems that arise.
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents throughout the duration of the improvement works. Maintain communication with contractors, suppliers, and residents. Provide comprehensive information and guidance to residents about the planned works.
- Monitor progress and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
We are looking for someone who has....
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a housing or construction environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach, with the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements in relation to planned improvement works.

- Salary: £26,862.15 per annum
- 27 days annual leave (rising to 32 over 5 years’ service) + bank holidays
