Senior Quality Technician
Loughborough

In this Quality engineering role, you will divide your time between incoming goods inspection and general quality assurance duties. You will liaise directly with suppliers to resolve quality issues and support the wider team with concession management, product and process audits, and supplier development. You will assist with generation of inspection control plans and completing inventory part approvals.
Inspection will focus on mechanical components using measuring equipment including CMM /OGP /hand tools but may include a level of cable, harness and PCBA inspection (full training will be provided).
About You
You will have achieved an appropriate level of science or engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, HNC or similar.
You will be trained in inspection and measurement techniques and have proven experience in using a range of measuring equipment and techniques in an engineering environment coupled with the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
CMM programming and experience of working with standards is advantageous but not essential.
You will have the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment. You must also be able to work collaboratively with high quality standards and an excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively.
