Job description
We are looking for a numerate, IT literate, technically minded individual to join a growing tech business in the Fleet area in a Junior Applications Engineer role. Prior experience is not necessary, full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be an Engineering graduate (or HND or BTEC or similar) or come from a Maths or Computing background. We are open to applicants from any Engineering discipline including Electronic, Electrical, Automotive, Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical etc, OR Mathematics or Computing / IT. Our client is willing to provide extensive training and opportunities for career development for bright, technically minded applicants.
You will be responsible for software and hardware products including testing, documentation, programming and graphic configuration. Key duties will include:
We are looking for an individual with a technical mindset and an aptitude to learn - the company is willing to invest in thorough training for the successful applicant and there are lots of opportunities for development as the business is growing. Excellent attention to detail is essential. Any knowledge of Tridium, Trend Control or Building Management Systems would be ideal but is not essential.
Starting salary will be dependent on experience, in the region of £25 - £29k. The hours are 9 - 5.30, Monday - Friday, with flexibility to start / finish earlier or later. There is free parking on site.
