Senior Frontend Developer | London | Once a week in office

Salary £70,000 - £80,000

I am working with a well renowned energy company, supporting them in building a brand new technology team. They are looking to bring in several frontend heavy developers. You'd need to be enthusiastic and resourceful frontend software developers who are passionate about building great products. If you're creative and inspired to invent new ways to help build amazing products that customers love, they'd love to hear from you!

They are using React, Next.js with TypeScript on the frontend, along with GraphQL to get data from their APIs. They use GraphQL Modules and AWS lambda functions to keep things organised in their "Backend for Frontend".

Everything they do is hosted in AWS!

What will you be doing?

• Create frontend applications using React / TypeScript
• Use a Server-less first approach to application design
• Work in an agile team with their backend engineers and product designers.
• Plan, build, test, and release new features and experiments.
• Mentor other team members through pair programming and code reviews.
• Help solve the challenges that come with large-scale systems and lots of data.

What skills are required?

• Scripting language, preferably Typescript
• React
• Develop applications hosted in AWS
• Experience with Serverless Computing such as Lambda and API Gateway
• Next.js
• GraphQL

This role is a hybrid position, you'd be expected in their London office once a week. This is the perfect time to get on-board as they look to scale drastically.
