Quality Assurance Engineer

Job description
I am working exclusively on behalf of my clients who operate within a range of industries and are providers to some of the largest engineering companies worldwide.
The role of the Quality Assurance Engineer is to maintain the Quality Management System to ensure full compliance to all national, international and customer standards.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the site’s quality procedures, standards and specifications in line with group wide processes as appropriate
- Drive quality improvements at the site
- Support, co-ordinate and enable the site to meet the accreditation requirements as per business strategy
- Partner with all functions to ensure commitment to quality and continuous improvement across the site
- Ensure specification updates are implemented etc
- Manage internal audits and to implement and adopt improvements as required
- Liaise and build relationships with auditors, acting as a representative for the site’s ongoing commitment to quality
- Ensure the company maintains its accreditation to AS9100
- Maintain the Quality Management System.
- Ensure Product conformity across all departments through spot audits
- Ensure that company compliance set KPI’S are achieved
- Ensure the company’s Quality policies and procedures are updated, implemented and maintained across the site
- Ensure external and internal audits are carried out in accordance with the audit plan
- Addressing NCR actions from audits, isolating non-compliance issues and pursuing resolution
- Attend customer visits / business reviews as appropriate
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a Quality function within engineering
- Experience of ISO9001, AS9100 and auditing experience
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
