Job Title: Hatchery Egg Supervisor
Reporting to: Hatchery Manager
Overall aim of the Job: To assist in all aspects of running the hatchery smoothly and efficiently.
Key tasks within the job:
• Manages egg bank and maintains records.
• Build and label credible set for incubation.
• Ensure Egg end and all trolleys are clean and sanitized.
• Conduct egg grading and maintain records.
• Liaise with drivers for correct egg drop offs.
• Place set, balance load and timings of trolleys and eggs
• Transportation of rack trolleys
• Manage farm trolley availability for collections.
• Maintain and lubricate setter trolleys.

Job Type: Permanent
Hours per week: 39 Hours per week
Working Times: Monday to Thursday 05:45am – 14:30pm & Friday’s 05:45am – 11:45pm
Pay Rate: £11.70 per hour.
Own transport is essential due to the remote location, based approximately 5 miles from Ipswich.
