Requirements:

- In-depth knowledge of Combat System Equipment used in the Maritime Environment and experience of system integration and trials is essential
- Proven experience of Combat systems in trials and/or operational environment
- Ability to generate Integration Trials documentation from Requirements, Interface Specifications and other Supplier documentation
- Ability to conduct trials schedules, then analyze and report results
- Knowledge and experience using integration tools and other Test Equipment
- Understanding and ability to manipulate CS Design and Trials information stored within database toolsets
- Academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific qualifications and becoming recognized as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through a recognized professional institution

Responsibilities:

- Generate, deliver, and review Acceptance, Assurance, and Integration Trials documentation as directed by the T26 CS Integration & Trials Manager
- Research and inclusion of other platform integration packages and the 'pull through' of information as necessary
- Undertake the preparations for, conduct, analysis, and formal reporting of acceptance, assurance, and integration trials to demonstrate requirements associated with individual systems
- Perform interface fault finding, diagnostics, and testing to ensure continuity of signal path on system interface cables
- Conduct data recordings and analysis to support integration evidence capture
- Generate Trials Reports then compile and present Acceptance and Assurance evidence
- Support the T26 CSE Delivery Managers and wider T26 CS Trials team through the provision of specialist engineering expertise as required
- Use and assist in the development of the T26 CS Trials Management, Observation Reporting, and other database toolsets

As a Senior Engineer within the T26 Integration Test & Trials team, I will provide engineering expertise and experience in support of the T26 Integration Programme. I will be part of a team of Trials Engineers in Portsdown Technology Park conducting de-risking activities before integrating the Combat System on the Platforms and supporting the installation, setting to work, trials, and acceptance of the Combat System. This will include the development of, conduct, analysis of and support to Combat System Equipment integration, acceptance, assurance, and de-risking activities to be conducted at the Land Based Integration Facility, Supplier’s sites, and on-board ships.
