Deputy Ward Manager

Up to £44,648 per annum

Full-Time, Permanent - 37.5 hrs

Spencer Clarke Group are on the lookout for an experienced Deputy Ward Managerto join our private client who are committed to providing exceptional care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach. The post holder will operate within a Hospital setting.

The multidisciplinary team provides care for up to 110 male & female service users, and delivers intensive care, acute, recovery & rehabilitation, which includes a specialist female Personality Disorder service.

Key responsibilities:

Work with the Ward Manager in the delivery of excellent care and the ongoing development and improvement of the ward.

Be responsible for ensuring that the ward team possesses the skills, knowledge and motivation to deliver the highest quality of care to service users with complex mental health.

Ensure that you and the team uphold MHA and MCA standards and work to uphold NMC's code of practice whilst ensuring all relevant policies are in place, reviewed and updated as and when necessary (e.g. ward guidelines/patient information)

Requirements:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) with an ACTIVE NMC PIN Registration.
