Regional Plant Finance Analyst – Fixed Term Contract

The enterprise business solutions finance team has responsibility for providing accounting services, business analytics and reporting for Finance colleagues in 30 countries across the Consumer EMEA region. Kenvue Consumer EMEA has annual sales of over $ 4 bn and sells approximately 100 different brands.
The Plant accounting team is part of the Principal, Inventory and Costing (PIC) Operations Team. This position reports into the Regional Plant Accounting Lead.
The Regional Plant Analyst is part of the team providing financial support and expertise to some of 10 manufacturing plants in EMEA. Key to this role is to be a subject matter expert in manufacturing accounting & analysis providing financial support to Supply Chain Finance and business support teams, ensuring that all financial processes are aligned across all Plants within the Region, ensuring the inventory, production & OCNIS accounting is accurate and compliant in line with Kenvue Worldwide Procedures (WWP).
The scope will touch on many areas of the financial statements of the plants, which carries high level of responsibility and opportunity to grow for the right candidate.
Position is initially offered on an employed fixed term basis for six months and then reviewed for potential extension.
What will you do
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Regional Supply Chain organization and local Plant team(s)
- Provide financial expertise and support to Supply Chain finance and business stakeholders
- Ensure the accounting accuracy for Inventory sections of Trial Balance:
- Gross Inventory
- Inventory Reserves
- Direct GRIR
- Manufacturing Variances
- OCNIS (Other Costs Not In Standard)
- Preparation of monthly variance analysis
- Execution of month-end financial close process
- Plant Stock Takes procedures alignment and process participation
- Point of contact and key business partner for all inventory and production related month end closing activities and ongoing processes and queries for two manufacturing plants
- Identify, explore and deliver continual process improvements within the area of responsibility taking into account the underlying principles of Eliminate, Standardize, Automate and Outsource standard activities to the 3rd-party contractors (“Manilarization”).
- Participate in projects and drive changes, promote best practices
- Cooperate with other EBS Teams and functions including CFMs, Inventory, Costing and Compliance teams
- Work closely with the Costing team to manage and resolve costing issues for the plants in responsibility
- Review, analyse and comment on financial performance vs targets
- Cooperate with Internal and External Audit as required.
Travel
- Travel in EAME region as and when required for projects
Compliance Statement:
- Ensure strong internal controls are adhered to, in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.
- Accurate and timely month-end reporting. Meet all corporate and regional deadlines.
QualificationsWhat we are looking forRequired Qualifications
- Part or fully qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years financial experience
Languages:
- English essential
- Other European languages desirable
Experience Required:
- Manufacturing/Plant accounting background, ideally knowledge of Kenvue Worldwide Procedures (WWP).
- Knowledge of SAP (STF, S4 HANA) & Excel, preferably knowledge of Kenvue manufacturing ERPs (AS400 / BPCS, MOVEX)
