Informix Developer (Contract)
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6 months (Initial)
Rate: £300 - £350 per day (Outside IR35)
Are you an experienced Informix Developer looking for your next opportunity? We have an exciting contract role available with a leading global software company, offering the chance to work on product improvement projects within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain a Legacy system written in Informix.
- Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Utilize SQL and Postgress to manipulate and manage data effectively.
- Contribute to the integration of systems using SOAP API.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Informix Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Informix and SQL is preferred however my client are interested to speak to candidates with experience in any 4GL programming language (eg Ingres or Progress)
- Understanding of integration methodologies using SOAP API.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
