Job description

As we head into 2024 we continue on our journey of growth. We are looking for an experienced Fibre Supervisor / Auditor to Join our Openreach Division to work out of our Borehamwood and Erith Yard.You will report directly to management and will be responsible for overseeing a number of fibre engineers involved in the network build involving blown fibre cabling and splicing on both underground and overhead works to provide FTTP across projects Central London as well as Inspecting Fibre equipment Installations and ensuring it has been built to standard before it has been handed over to our client for Service.

Responsibilities

• You will carry out audits to make sure health and safety and quality are at the forefront of focus
• Manage KPIs across the teams to drive delivery across the build requirements
• Ensure build quality is maintained & improved
• Feedback and improve the quality of build to the fibre engineers
• Assisting the fibre engineers with any onsite issues

Skills & Experience

• You will carry out audits to make sure health and safety and quality are at the forefront of focus

• Assisting the fibre engineers with any onsite issues
• Experienced Fibre Supervisor with Good Knowledge of the Fibre build
• Excellent knowledge of the PIA Network Build
• Cabling Blown Fibre Splicing and Jointing External Fibre projects
• Previous Experience working with multiple gangs of Fibre Engineers across multiple disciplines
• Good Time management organisational Skills and able to work to deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Previous Experience in Utilities /Telecoms
