Calling all word nerds, number crunchers and meticulous marketers 

We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our enthusiastic, high-performing marketing team and contribute to the delivery of an ambitious organisational strategy, which aims to make our intellectual heritage accessible to everyone. 

With excellent communication and people skills, you will take ownership of select marketing campaigns which bring to life the Library’s Living Knowledge vision. You'll be working to reach and engage audiences to generate revenue across our commercial areas, with a significant focus on our ecommerce platforms. 

You will support the Marketing Manager to develop and implement strong, content-led marketing plans, and you will work collaboratively with the Marketing teams (Digital Engagement, Campaigns, Audience Insight and Design), as well as other colleagues from across the organisation. You’ll assist in the production of content for channels including email, social and web, using a variety of different digital platforms and tools including automation, to optimise conversions and build pipelines for our commercial teams. You’ll also support on improving the online customer journey to improve sales conversions, and you’ll regularly use analytics to make recommendations. 

You’ll also help ensure the smooth working of the department and support the teams in key tasks from undertaking grassroots marketing activity to reach specific B2C and B2B audiences, to supervising photographers and assisting with out of hours events.

You’ll be a creative thinker with experience working on marketing campaigns and communicating with target audiences in a commercial environment. Writing copy for print and digital collateral will come naturally to you. You will be organised, able to act on your own initiative and manage your time effectively. You must be a team player and a confident communicator who can build strong working relationships with colleagues. You’ll also feel comfortable working with numbers and learning new systems, and generally take a hands-on approach to work, tackling anything you’re tasked with.

You’ll be required to work on site from our St Pancras offices for a minimum of 3 days per week, as you’ll be closely working with our frontline teams, so you’ll enjoy face-to-face interaction with colleagues and take every chance to build strong working relationships.

This is on top of 25 days holiday from entry and public and privilege holidays.
