Our client is on the lookout for a versatile and qualified Gas Engineer. They primarily work with private customers and lettings agents in Winchester, Southampton, Eastleigh, and the surrounding areas.

As a Gas Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the team, working across various gas appliances including cookers, boilers, fires and unvented systems.

The Role:

• Perform installations/ breakdowns/ services for boilers, cookers, fires, and unvented systems in domestic properties across Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, and the surrounding areas.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, including service reports, job sheets, and timekeeping records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, upholding a professional and friendly approach consistently.

Who You Are:

• Possess relevant qualifications and certifications for working on boilers, cookers, fires, and unvented systems.
• While not essential, familiarity with LPG and an understanding of heating wiring is desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing, heating, and servicing.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.
• Hold a clear driving license (up to 3 points for insurance purposes)
• Take pride in your work with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Commitment to following health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Salary & Benefits:

• Starting salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience (1 in 4 call out rota with overtime paid).
