Your role in our mission
You’ll be the Integration Architect on one of our largest ever investment programmes, deploying an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across our Sales, Service, Order Management and Finance functions.
You will play a vital role in this exciting and critical programme, acting as the bridge between the software vendor and our Technology team. You will act as the technical owner for the overall ERP solution, defining the blueprint to ensure successful integration with our internal systems.
You’ll build relationships across our internal technology team, and our implementation partners to understand the integration touchpoints, and you will define and implement a modern, event based architecture to deliver our integration requirements. You will develop comprehensive architectural and master data management principles to underpin the ERP solution.
What you’ll do
- Partner with teams from across our internal Technology function, developing strong relationships to ensure all subject matter experts are engaged and supporting the programme
- Act as the key technical interface between CV-Library and our implementation partners, taking a ‘one team’ approach to support successful implementation
- Own the ERP technical solution, on behalf of the programme but acting in lock step with the Technology team as the longer term owners of the new solution
- Develop the architectural blueprints to enable successful integration between the ERP solution and our internal systems, aligned to modern event based best practices
- Work with Technology and Product to translate the blueprint into a delivery roadmap
- Define and deliver (alongside the Data Lead) a master data management strategy, ensuring a single version of the truth is maintained in the system of record, and shared as required across other systems
- Own the service / technical acceptance processes, partnering with the Technology service delivery team to ensure operational readiness of the new solution
- Be a key member of the ERP programme leadership team, driving the team and wider business to achieve our strategic goals on time and to the agreed cost / quality measures
Requirements
- You have significant experience as an Architect with a strong background in implementing Microsoft Dynamics solutions, covering both Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations domains
- You are a creative problem solver, you know how to influence stakeholders at all levels to step back, understand the root cause of a problem and develop innovative solutions
- You have a proven ability to lead cross functional teams, inspiring them to achieve ambitious goals
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can effectively convey complex technical and business concepts to stakeholders at all levels
- You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities, whilst maintaining focus on the big picture in terms of strategic goals / timescales
- You have a track record of delivering high-quality products on time and on budget, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on being better every day
- You are a 'doer' and are not afraid to make decisions and take calculated risks to drive the product forward, ensuring that innovation, execution and business value are balanced
