Salary: From £33000 - £39000 per annum, experience dependant.
Location: Hybrid and flexible working arrangements, based in our Northallerton or Otley offices. Some travel to other sites will be required.
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, There will be some out of hours working required on occasion

We are an award-winning building design consultancy and 2024 is looking to be our busiest year yet. With exciting new projects coming up with our Partner North Yorkshire Council and private sector clients, we are looking for two Bridge Inspectors to join us at Align Property Partners.
You will be responsible for the arranging and carrying out of effective and efficient bridge inspections, reporting back on findings in accordance with contractual agreement. There will be time where you will supervise special inspections such as diving and confined spaces. Your knowledge and expertise will guide you to make informed decisions in your investigations on any defects within the structures and escalating the findings to all parties to ensure all bridges are safe across the county.

You will collaborate with colleagues across our multi-discipled workforce and our clients, from our Local Authority Partners, North Yorkshire Council as well as private sector clients where you can share your knowledge as well as develop your own skills.

To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and qualifications:
· HND / HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in the inspection of bridges, working within an engineering design consultancy or Local Authority.
· Training and / or sufficiently experienced to ensure personal safety, and that of others, whilst working on the highways network.
· Experience of working at height, overwater and railways and the Health & Safety risks associated.
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills
