Orion Electrotech Aerospace is seeking a Trainee NDT Technician. On offer is the chance to work for a company that provides a fast-paced dynamic team-based environment and offers stability, security and the opportunity to work on varied projects. The successful NDT Technician will be:
- Operating non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment, monitoring and reporting NDT data
- Carrying out pre-defined NDT daily, weekly and monthly checks
- Identifying issues while using equipment and documenting and putting in preventative measures
- Tracking orders and regulating work lists to ensure workload is prioritised and equipment is utilised
- Ensuring specific quality and criteria are maintained to quality system requirements
- Able to understand and follow detailed instructions, routing and drawings for job and set-up operations.
Required skillset:
- Qualified to NDT Level 2
- Experience using X-ray techniques
- Able to comply with routing, drawings and procedures
- Experience with hand tools such as calipers, depth guages and micrometers
- Problem-solving skills
- Great communication, organisational and personal computer (PC) skills.

Hours:
This role offers a Monday to Friday shift with an early finish on a Friday.
- Monday-Thursday: 8.00 am-5.00 pm and Friday: 8.00 am-1.00 pm.
