THE ROLE

BEM Group is targeting a Client-Side Project Manager to join our Newcastle team.

The position offers ownership, collaboration, autonomy, and management of delivering exciting projects with key partners.

We are seeking a bold decision maker and strong communicator to provide support to our Senior Project Managers and deliver mid-tier value capital works projects.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

We consider design, social, economic, and environmental factors to manage project complexities that create the settings for human activity. A strong fit would be reflected through the following experience:

• Tertiary qualification in project management
• Demonstrated recent project experience as a client-side project manager within the education, retail, and commercial sector
• Ability to retain and facilitate a strong industry network
• Up to date industry knowledge and experience in managing the PCG, stakeholder group and head contractor
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Strong ability to understand, assess and mitigate risk
• Ability to think critically and adapt to overcome obstacles in the project process, achieving the best outcome for our clients
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Procore.

PREFERRED SKILLS 

Key Tasks

• Supporting/working closely with front-end + delivery Senior Project Managers and Project Administrator
• Standalone full line delivery of minor capital works programs circa $3 to $10m
