We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Lymphoedema and Complementary Therapy Service Lead to spearhead this vital service. This role is perfect for a determined and compassionate individual ready to make a significant impact in lymphoedema care and management.

About the Role

As the Service Lead for the two services, you will not only be providing direct patient care but also leading the development, coordination, and administration of our services. This position represents a unique opportunity to drive improvements, innovate treatment strategies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Contract Details

• Salary: £30,580 to £38,804 per year including market supplement (Full time equivalent £38,225 to £48,505 per year including market supplement)
• Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Location: St. Luke's Hospice sites and community visits within the Basildon and Thurrock areas

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the Lymphoedema and Complementary Therapy Services, including staff management, service planning, and development.
• Delivering expert clinical care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of lymphoedema.
• Developing evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols for lymphoedema management.
• Driving continuous improvement in the service through audit, research, and educational initiatives.
• Forming strong collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

About You:

• Degree or equivalent in Nursing or Allied Health Profession, with current registration.
• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within Lymphoedema or related services.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading and motivating a team.
• A passion for enhancing patient wellbeing and quality of life through innovative care approaches.
• Specialised qualification in Lymphoedema management - desirable
