Job Description
- Adopt CRM Tools: Utilise CRM (e.g., Conga) for managing discounts, net prices, and quotations.
- Market Analysis: Gather and analyse market pricing data globally for ABB and competitors.
- Strategy Development: Develop effective pricing strategies in alignment with global division strategies.
- Guideline Adherence: Follow established pricing guidelines and analyse international pricing structures.
- Pricing Corrections: Propose strategic pricing adjustments for approval.
- Information Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of global pricing information for internal pricing consistency.
- Profit Maximisation: Drive profitability through a professional pricing infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between sales teams and the global division pricing department.
- Price Execution: Develop methods to execute price recommendations efficiently.
- Data Analysis: Analyse sales/financial data to measure pricing strategy effectiveness.
- Sales and Product Manager Support Function: Support and empower sales and product management teams, ensuring B2B customer compliance with pricing models. Central to delivering value and maintaining a competitive edge.

The Successful Applicant
- Educated and Experienced: Holds a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with proven experience in pricing or a related role.
- CRM Savvy: Skilled in using CRM tools for pricing, with a preference for those experienced with Conga.
- Analytical Thinker: Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of developing and implementing effective pricing strategies.
- Market Analyst: Adept at gathering and analysing global market pricing data, understanding both ABB's and competitors' positioning.
- Strategic Planner: Demonstrates ability to develop pricing strategies that align with global division strategies and market demands.
- Guideline Guru: Ensures adherence to pricing guidelines and effectively analyses pricing structures for strategic adjustments.
- Team Collaborator: Excellent at working across teams and functions, facilitating seamless communication between sales, product management, and global division pricing departments.
- Independent Innovator: A motivated self-starter who can work independently, meet deadlines, and manage projects to increase profitability and market share.
