MCS Group is delighted to once again be working alongside a trusted partner in the Food Manufacturing industry, to recruit for an experience Production Manager to join their team based in Belfast.

Have a background in Production Management?

You will take responsibility for the management of all operations and production on site and ensure high standards are maintained in plant performance, product quality, overall efficiency, and staff management.

The job role involves being responsible for Operations in all Departments ensuring that Hygiene, Quality and Health and Safety standards are maintained.

A key element of this role is to work as part of a team to ensure that production KPI’s are meet

You will;

• To take responsibility for the day to day running of all aspects of production and improve performance and efficiency in line with current food health and safety and environmental legislation.
• Maintain and improve site quality standards, SOP’s, internal site audits etc in line with HACCP and legal requirements.
• Assist with BRC standard approval.
• Plan and oversee the collection of raw material.
• Play a key role in developing new processes to improve efficiency using the principle of Lean Management.
• Take responsibility for the stock control system.
• Manage, coach, and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.

Preference will be given to candidates who have IOSH, knowledge of HAACP.
