£35,000 - £39,000
Full Time – 45 hours per week.

We are excited to be working with our fantastic client based in Shap to support them with the company’s continual growth. We are recruiting for an experienced general manager for a fantastic Inn & restaurant.
The right candidate will be a hands-on leader who is capable of managing a small team in a bustling venue with consistent footfall from locals and visitors alike. There is fantastic accommodation available with this position.
Role responsibilities:
Oversee all operations of the business, including team development, stocks, driving sales & guest service.
Monitor and analyse the financial performance of the site, identifying areas for improvement.
Communicate & coordinate effectively with the FOH & kitchen team to ensure service is flawless.
Build and develop relationships with customers.
Handle any guest queries and complaints in a productive manner.
Continually oversee all aspects of the business.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
An already experienced General Manager who has worked in venues with accommodation.
Excellent knowledge of F&B operations.
Customer service champion – capable of delivering great service and leading by example.
Strong eye for detail, highly organised and passionate about hospitality.
Exceptional leadership skills, ability to train & develop existing and new team members.
Friendly, personable and able to forge strong links with the local community.
