As our UX Director, you will be responsible for leading the user experience design efforts across our games. You will play a crucial role in shaping how players interact with our games, ensuring that their experience is intuitive, engaging, and memorable.
Key Duties Include
- Define and drive the overall UX strategy and vision for our games
- Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to integrate UX principles into the game design process
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform UX improvements
- Work closely with stakeholders to align on project goals and requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design
- Advocate for the player, ensuring that their needs and preferences are at the forefront of the design process
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX Director or similar leadership role in the games industry
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience leading and managing a team of UX designers
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD ยท
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Experience conducting user research and applying insights to improve UX
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry
