SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher – Heathfield – September 2024

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of exceptional learners? We're on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our vibrant team.

Your Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and supportive learning experience for exceptional students. Your passion for teaching and commitment to inclusivity will contribute to the success of a diverse and vibrant school community

Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:

* Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborating with parents, support staff, and other teachers to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
* Utilizing various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
* Providing ongoing assessment and feedback to guide student progress.

Requirements needed to become a SEN Teacher:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with diverse needs
* Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have relevant teaching qualifications (teaching degree with QTS or equivalent)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
