Job description
Our specialist neurological multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team would like to offer you an opportunity to join us. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person with good communication skills, with evidence of a caring attitude, and a willingness to learn.
In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary (pro rata where applicable). You will participate in a 7 day working rota including long day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
Danesbury Neurological Centre is a 24 bedded in-patient unit based in Welwyn. Using your experience of working with people with physical/sensory disabilities, you will be working with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in the in-patient unit enabling neurological patients to maximize their independence.
The successful candidate will:

• assist with stock ordering for the ward
• hold a full valid driving license and have access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)

• To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the treatment and management of patients with complex neurological conditions and stroke.
• To provide both clinical and administrative support to the qualified staff within the service to enable the delivery of high quality multi-professional nursing packages to highly complex patients with neurological problems.
• To implement and progress agreed planned treatment programmes.
