Are you forward thinking and looking for an Optical Assistant role that is not based in practice?
My client is looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to match the ambition of this young, dynamic company. Prior experience in the optical sector is a requirement as you will be handling enquiries on presriptions, fittings/ measurements and eyewear products.
Equally, a keen interest in sport and fashion is definitely going to help, and an enthusiasm for technology is going to be a bonus! My client prides themself on offering excellent customer service and advice, so an individual with a confident, outgoing persona is essential in dealing with telephone & sales enquiries.
Responsibilities of the Optical AssistantThe role will mainly include dealing with customer via telephone, email and live chat enquiries with a friendly, positive attitude. You will also be offering optical and style advice, managing returns and warranties, website maintenance/updating (uploading product images and descriptions), social media and marketing assistance, stock checking and general office assistance and customer service
Requirements of the Optical AssistantAs an Optical Assistant it is essential you have some experience within optics and have an understanding of dispensing. You must also be forward thinking and open to change as this is not your traditional Optical Assistant role. Finally you must be computer literate and be comfortable navigating social media.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant For your efforts a competitive salary package up to £24,000 dependant on your experience is on offer. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
