Job Description
- Ensure that all subsidiaries of the Shaw Trust Group are following the correct groups accounting policies, particularly in relation to regular (monthly or quarterly) balance sheet and other reconciliations.
- Ensure the accurate management of centralised asset processes including fixed assets, leases and capital expenditure
- Action all asset requests in an accurate and timely manner
- Hold responsibility for balance sheet and P&L reconciliation and justification for asset related accounts
- Prepare and review of other key balance sheet reconciliations across the Group.
- Assist in the preparation of the statutory year end accounts across the Group.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance - ACA / ACCA / QBE
- Proven working experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
