JOB TITLE: Digital Marketing Executive

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

Area of responsibility:
To significantly raise our clients global brand profile utilising B2C omnichannel marketing tactics, leading to improved consumer engagement, increased ROI and sales, and enhanced customer retention and loyalty.

Key Measures:
• Effectiveness of email and social media activity as measured by key metrics particularly ROI
• Targeted consumer database growth
• Brand visibility on Google and other search engines

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, generate, edit, publish and share daily social media content focused on increasing reach and engagement with the appropriate backlinks to encourage order conversions on our website
• Devise and implement targeted email campaigns through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification and reviewing the results to benefit future campaigns
• Plan, develop and implement an effective influencer program. Continuously review to maximise and drive its success
• Utilise google analytics and other insights to understand how consumers arrive and interact with the website. Regularly review and report the performance data/metrics, with recommendations on how we can make measured improvements to our marketing
• Develop and implement a social media ‘live program’ across social platforms
• Drive awareness of brands and products through consistent SEO
• Constantly check search terms and rankings to monitor and record the strength of brand presence compared to competitors
• Investigate appropriate new social platforms, with a view to setting up the company pages and developing a content plan to achieve a targeted result
• Daily management of the company’s consumer databases ensuring they are current, accurate and include the relevant contacts

B2C Marketing Channels – Initial Focus:
Social Media
Influencer marketing
Email marketing
Video marketing
SEO
Website/blogs

Qualification, Skills and Experience:
• A University degree
• At least 5 years relevant marketing experience after University with a proven track record of success and an in-depth knowledge of social media and email marketing
• Paid for social media experience would be an advantage
• A sound knowledge of organic SEO and Influencer marketing strategies
• Excellent research and analytical skills are a must, focusing on social media KPIs, SEO and web traffic metrics via GA4
• A creative thinker with the ability to solve problems and actively drive our marketing performance forward
• Great interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive approach to work and an eagerness to meet and exceed objectives
• Excellent time-management and organisation skills with attention to detail
• Able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well within a team
• Excellent writing, editing, numeracy and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe

The role holder may be required to occasionally work additional hours and other appropriate duties as dictated by the needs of the business.

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm 1 hour lunch. Hybrid working is available, 3 days in the office and 2 days at home

SALARY: £30,000 - £34,000 DOE

HOLIDAY: 25 days plus bank holidays.
