We are recruiting for a permanent Regional Health & Safety Manager to join our team focusing on Runcorn, Wetherby & Bolden Matthew Clark depots. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional in health, safety and environmental management to join our fast paced, growing business.

What you’ll get up to

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional in health, safety and environmental management to join our fast paced, growing business. You’ll be providing generalist operational risk management support with a business partner perspective aimed at minimising liability exposure, optimising business performance and supporting the Group Logistics Team to meet its business objectives.

Key accountabilties will include:

• Supporting the delivery of HSE, Transport Safety, Business Continuity, Information and Physical Security policy and standards
• Identification, communication, escalation and provision of advice and guidance on all aspects of operational risk affecting people, product, property, commercial, regulatory and brand value

What we look for in you

• NEBOSH Certifcate or Diploma qualified with experience in both Health, Safety and Environmental management
• Strong communication and influencing skills so as to be able to articulate technical requirements to non-technical audiences
• A demonstrable track record of delivering organisational performance improvements in terms of culture and risk management
• Knowledge and experience of implementing ISO14001 and OHSAS180 across multiple sites (Runcorn, Wetherby & Bolden)
