Job description

Job Title: Administration Assistant Location: Richmond Villages Painswick, Stroud Road, Painswick, Gloucestershire, GL6 6UL

Salary range: £11.25 per hour - Paid Breaks

Contract: Maternity Cover for minimum of 6 months starting May 2024

Shift Pattern: Part time, 25 hours per week. 5x hours per day across Monday to Friday. Some weekend cover may be required.

As our Administration Assistant, you'll provide comprehensive administrative support to the Care Home and Head of Care, including coordination of the care home daily diary, ensuring a professional and efficient service is provided at all times.

You can count on a thorough induction when you start to help you settle into your new role followed by ongoing training and development including access to apprenticeships. This also includes access to our online portal which has a variety of resources to aid personal development & free access LinkedIn's online learning platform. You'll help us make health happen by:

Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (including English and Maths) and a Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration and experience of working within a care home environment would be advantageous. With previous experience in an office environment, you're confident using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel. Friendly and professional, both face to face and over the phone, you're organised and able to work well within a team. With a dedicated and efficient work ethic, you thrive in a busy environment and are able to handle a varied workload.
