What you will do in your working day

As a Digital & Technology Solutions Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to rotate across several key areas in Zurich UK Operations.

This will help you understand the way our business works and to build your portfolio of technical and business skills.

On your final rotation, you’ll be given an opportunity to specialise in the area you like the most. 

You’ll be supported and challenged throughout the program, and we'll set you on your way to a successful career with us.

By working on a range of projects and initiatives, you’ll get to put our customers at the heart of everything you do and learn more about our culture.  

As you go through the three years of study, you'll also build up your knowledge and insight into the various different areas, including:

• Web Design and Programming (PHP)
• Dynamic and Data Driven Systems (MySQL, Access)
• Enhancing Web User Experience
• Business Operations and Process Analysis and Design
• Development Programming Language
• Cyber Security Fundamentals
• Developing an IT Strategy
• Enterprise infrastructure design and architectures

The training you will be getting

• Alongside work you will complete a Level 6 BSc Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship
• The apprenticeship will take 36 months plus an End Point Assessment
• We will support your study time alongside your permanent role
