Job Summary

To lead on the social work qualifying internal sponsorship route and contribute to the delivery of the Social Work Strategy for Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly Councils.

Our Social Work Strategy delivers for the social work profession and our communities. You will focus on sponsored students and through the strategy you will be making a valuable contribution to recruitment, retention, professional progression with newly qualified, CPD initiatives, and aspiring social care management. You will have students reporting to you looking to you for guidance, critique, and motivation. Working closely with service management and the students you will celebrate success, quality assure, and manage disappointment. • Social Work and Practice Educator/Assessor Qualified and registered with Social Care Wales.
• Working or collaborating with universities may feature in your experience.

• You can transfer learning into practice and know how best to guide other professionals in collaborative conversations that make a difference.
