Job description

A Portsmouth based client is looking for a live in full time carer who can help with daily activities and routines. The client is still capable and does not require special care but may require assistance.

Working hours: 7 days a week; 10 to 12 hours a day with breaks

Duties include:

• providing companionship
• helping with personal care, if needed
• organising meals as well as groceries for the client
• taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• running errands such as paying bills
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting in cooking and preparing meals
• helping the client manage their budget
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require someone who has a valid UK Residence Permit. They need a carer who can start as soon as possible.
