This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled Imaging expert to contribute to abcam’s Immunocytochemistry Portfolio expansion. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Immunocytochemistry and Flow Cytometry Team Leader within the Characterisation Team and is passionate about validating antibodies to the highest standard.
The Characterisation Team is part of the Antibody Validation and Characterization Group holding a key function in the validation and characterization of new antibodies and new batches of existing products ensuring functionality for our customers.
We are looking for an expert in Immunocytochemistry with proven track record of delivering projects with impressive results as well as an ability to teach and mentor others, along with line management responsibility. You will be collaborating with other labs across the world on new product development and method standardization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You have a PhD degree or you can demonstrate an equivalent level of expertise with experience in industry/academia-setting. You have a strong scientific background and experience in antibody validation. You have a deep understanding and extensive experience using Confocal Microscopy or High Content Analyzer.
You will ideally have experience in automated image analysis and quantification (ICC/IHC) using AI tools. You have experience in imaging and cultivating primary mammalian cells (human/mouse).
