Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Community Staff Nurses , working 18.5 hours per week each Term Time Only to join Suffolk County Council’s new Healthy Living Service, within the Community Health Team in Children and Young People’s Service .
Your role and responsibilities
You will be expected to clinically review child weight outcomes and take appropriate actions, and manage the operations of Child Health Screening and the Child Health Screening Practitioners. You will work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, and other regulatory documents, ensuring your NMC registration is maintained.
You will support the needs of children, young people and their families by ensuring the implementation of the care pathways, outlined in the Healthy Living Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and in accordance with the clinical governance framework.
