You will be working 4 days on and 4 days off shift system, 18:00 to 06:00, 42 hours per week.
Your main responsibilities will also include:
- Providing concierge, front of house and reception duties, including personally welcoming clients, customers and employees
- Managing building access control for staff, visitors and contractors
- Carrying out security patrols and Health & Safety checks
- Monitoring Fire, Security and Intruder Alarms & Building Management Systems
- You'll play a key role in the security team's delivery of a professional service to high profile businesses, with a firm focus on delivering high levels of customer service. A positive "can-do" attitude is essential.
- Your responsibilities will span both reception duties and core security functions. From greeting visitors to ensuring the premises are secure, you'll be a versatile team player
- When incidents arise, make decisive decisions. Your calm demeanor under pressure will set the tone for safety
- Take initiative. Be proactive in your duties, anticipating security needs and addressing them promptly
- Reporting/escalating any service failures or incidents to the SSM and client if required
- Liaise with service partners where required - sub-contractors and agencies
- Actively use the ECO ONLINE system to report positive interventions, near misses and accidents.
- Work collaboratively with other teams (cleaning, FOH, engineering) to deliver seamless services.
To succeed in this role you will also need:
- An SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence (essential)
- Computer literacy
- Good written and verbal communication
- Previous experience is essential at least 1 year of experience in a corporate security environment, ideally with FOH/reception
- Training or certification in conflict resolution
- A client-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service. Prior experience in customer-facing roles
- Strong organizational skills for incident reporting and record-keeping. Familiarity with security-related paperwork and documentation
- Provide a full 5-year work/education history with addresses and landline contact details
