A city centre based Civil Service employer require a Project Accountant to join on a period of 6 months – do you have management accounts experience and are available to start in a 3–4 week notice?

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a Project Accountant for a leading Civil Service employer based in Belfast city centre. This is an interim contract role that will be for a duration of 6 months, with the potential of extension. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Project Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and assisting with the preparation of year end audit files.

About you

• Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant
• Management accounts experience
• Strong communication skills
• Available at short notice

What you’ll do

• Preparation of month end financial information
• Reporting of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cashflow forecasting
