Composite Technicians - Trimming/Fitting
Manpower is currently working with an established, continually growing business with an incredibly bright future in the advanced materials market who due to continued expansion are currently recruiting for several roles within their composites division.
As a composite trimming and fitting technician, you will be working with advanced materials such as carbon fibre pre-preg to trim, fit and de-mould components and moulds, playing your part in producing high grade parts and components for various cutting edge industries such as advanced aerospace, high spec automotive and more!
Previous experience within this field is essential therefore, and you will be expected to demonstrate your ability to interpret and follow engineering drawings, use appropriate surface preparation techniques common for metallics and composite bonding, as well as problem solve whilst working to strict deadlines.
Some key responsibilities would include
-Trimming, fitting, and bonding complex assemblies with sub-assemblies, inserts and fixings
-De-moulding of components using the appropriate tools to avoid damage to the mould or parts
-Interpreting technical engineering drawings
-High quality surface preparation ready for bonding metallics and composites
-Problem solving to reach swift solution when issues present
