Job Description
- Lead, and execute internal audit projects
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
- Identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
- Work closely with other team members to achieve audit objectives
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CIPFA
- Experience in Internal Auditing, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Prior Public Sector or Local Government internal audit experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a team
