Job Description
- Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors
- Coordinate fundraising events and campaigns
- Manage donor database and ensure compliance with fundraising laws
- Prepare and present fundraising reports to management
- Work closely with marketing and PR team to promote fundraising events
- Train and supervise fundraising volunteers
- Participate in the ongoing review and development of the fundraising strategy
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Fundraising Officer should have:
- Prior experience in a fundraising role within the not-for-profit sector
- Exposure to or a desire to learn about writing grants
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Knowledge of fundraising laws and regulations
- A passion for making a difference in the community
