Oaks Primary Academy has a rare opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join their friendly and collaborative team in the role of Nursery Assistant. This is a permanent role which offers an actual salary £17,160 per annum (£22,714 full time equivalent) based on 32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week. Please note that this opportunity is based in our Nursery, Ducklings Nursery.
We are looking for someone demonstrates the following:
Someone who will work well as part of a team, collaborating with two other Nursery Practitioners.
Some who must be organised and have the confidence to plan and prepare highly effective learning opportunities for children of all abilities.
A minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification
Being independent and able to work under pressure
Excellent communicator at all levels
Ability to organise own work and that of others, identify priorities and meet outcomes
Lead by example, demonstrating high levels of drive, enthusiasm and passion with proven ability to motivate others
Excellent written communication with ability to produce and evaluate reports
Up to date knowledge of the current EYFS framework and other relevant regulations
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children

Working for Oaks Primary Academy: Oaks Primary is a small academy with approximately 190 pupils on roll and an additional 20 pupils in our Nursery. We are very proud of our school and the hard work and positive attitude of all our pupils and staff. Teaching and learning areas are both safe and well-maintained, providing a stimulating working environment for pupils. We are continually striving to improve our facilities in order to enrich the experiences of our pupils.
The teachers and support staff form a very strong team and work closely with the Governing Body and Leigh Academies Trust to promote high standards throughout Oaks Primary Academy. Parents provide invaluable voluntary support throughout the academy including a programme of fundraising activities throughout the year.
