Behaviour Support Mentor - Manchester
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Salary Range: £1700 - £1800 per month

GSL Education is currently supporting the Headteacher in seeking several dedicated Behaviour Support Mentors to join their staff team as soon as possible.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Behaviour Management: Develop and implement strategies to foster positive behaviour among students, aligning with school policies.
- Individual Support: Offer personalized guidance and encouragement to students with challenging behaviours to enhance their social and emotional skills.
- Group Interventions: Conduct workshops and interventions aimed at addressing behavioural issues and promoting positive peer interactions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to create and implement behaviour plans tailored to students' needs, ensuring consistency across environments.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor student behaviour, maintain accurate records, and provide feedback to stakeholders to support intervention and improvement efforts.

Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience working with children within a similar setting.
- Previous experience working with SEN is highly advantageous.
- Enhanced DBS, Right to work in the UK, and References.
