At Templer Homebuild, we are delighted to introduce a new role to the Customer Experience team, and seek an enthusiastic and organised Team Leader, who values impeccable customer service.
Working within our Response/ Maintenance business based in Newton Abbot, you will motivate, develop, and encourage high performance, to deliver a leading service to our client, Teign Housing.
Leading a team of Schedulers, you will ensure emergency and routine residential repair calls are answered effectively and efficiently scheduled, contributing to offering a caring and efficient service. You will also be responsible for completing scheduling responsibilities within the team.

The Team Leader role:
Collaborate and support the Customer Experience Manager to develop and maintain a high performing team to support overall contract delivery
Coach and provide supervision of the Responsive and Compliance planner/schedulers
Work with the operational teams to provide support on service delivery across multiple workstreams and successfully achieve business KPIs
Build and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Monitoring material orders through the trades
Produce and manage compliance data reconciliations and monthly KPI reports
Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff development and training.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues and Customer First Team
What will you bring as a Team Leader?
Demonstrable experience of managing people within a relative environment e.g., scheduling/call/contact centre, where customer service is at the heart of what you do, ideally within a Response/ Maintenance environment.
The ability to drive the performance of a team with an unwavering commitment to retaining a positive, ‘lead by example’ approach. You will not be afraid to get involved and roll your sleeves up, to help and direct your team.
Well-developed and impeccable communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to be clear and consistent in your delivery when consulting with your team, your seniors, and our clients/residents.
