SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.

Primary Purpose of Role

Since the acquisition of SPTS by KLA the role of market data and intelligence has become fundamental to us! This important work allows us to identify growth opportunities which inform our strategic direction.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Market Intelligence, you will create forecasting models for the semiconductor equipment market. You will have a good understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment along with their application in the specialty and packaging markets. In return, we offer the opportunity to help shape Product Roadmaps ensuring we achieve our goals.

We offer the opportunity to work in a global business. Some international travel may be required -around 10%.

Your key responsibilities will contribute to the overall Market Intelligence goals:

• Developing Excel models to assist with forecasting market size and share for our products
• Compiling intelligence on SPTS’ competitors and customers to feed into the market intelligence database for product managers and senior management
• Using the quarterly earnings calls of selected public companies to gauge an impression of confidence levels in the industry
• Providing market information on request for presentations made by SPTS & KLA executives
• Assisting with the preparation of market data for SPTS & KLA events
• Participating in industry conferences for our core markets

The skills & k ey behavioural competencies you'll need include:

• Advanced excel skills - including some expertise with Pivot Tables, VBA and Macros
• Enthusiastic with a positive attitude - build positive relationships/partnerships with internal and external customers
• Significant market analysis and semiconductor industry experience
• Strong communicator comfortable with interfacing at multiple levels
• Strong presentation skills

Qualifications

You'll have a Bachelor's Level Degree or proven experience in the semiconductor or related industries and significant experience in most areas listed above
