Nonstop Care is working with a well-established fostering agency in East of England that is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their Team!

As a Supervising Social Worker, you'll actively engage in supervising carers, conducting assessments, participating in the court arena, and collaborating with various professionals and services, fostering a dynamic work environment . This diverse range of responsibilities not only makes the job interesting but also contributes to its dynamic and engaging nature .

This position provides continuous professional development through regular supervision , ongoing training, and collaborative shared learning , fostering a dynamic work culture that enhances both individual and team effectiveness in delivering quality services to children and families

• Travel Assistance: Mileage reimbursement of 45 pence per mile

Your Responsibilities:

• Facilitating the recruitment and evaluation of Foster Carers to increase the placement options for vulnerable children within their local communities, close to family and friends.
• Evaluating Special Guardians and ensuring the implementation of support plans.
• Collaborating with a child's Social Worker to establish permanence for children, whether through long-term fostering or special guardianship.

Requirements:

• Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
• Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being
• Post-qualified experience across fostering and/or adoption
• Clear, Enhanced DBS
• Must drive and have access to own vehicle
