About The Role
We are currently recruiting for Machine Operators to work at our brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Barton-upon-Humber. The role will be from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
Main responsibilities:
- Follow detailed technical drawings to produce end products of the highest standard
- Effectively and safely control a variety of woodworking machinery including CNC drills, edge banders and glue machines, and a variety of hand tools
- Participate in training and mentoring of Trainee Machine Operators
- Carry out rigorous quality checks to ensure high-quality standards are always met, reporting any quality issues to management and the QC team
- Ability to operate machines, move and remove parts as required for cleaning processes
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
About You
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
- Organisational skills
- Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
- Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of manufactured products
- Awareness of H&S and COSHH
